  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality.
  • Enable video calls, audio calls, and profile pictures.
  • Facilitate connections between users.
  • Improve user experience and app features.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Communicate important updates or promotions (if you consent).
  • Monitor the usage of our Service and detect, prevent, and address technical issues.

  • You can choose not to allow camera access, but this will prevent you from using features such as video calls but not prevent you from using features such as voice calls if you allow microphone access.

  • You may delete your account at any time, which removes your personal data from our servers.
  • You can withdraw consent for communications at any time.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information and ensure its security through our app infrastructure.

To provide our services, we work with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating Kyndl:

Account Deletion

When you delete your account, your profile will no longer be visible to other users. However, we implement a safety retention window to protect our community:

  • Safety Retention Window: Following account deletion, we retain certain data for up to 90 days (3 months). During this period, we keep your information to investigate potential violations of our Terms of Service, prevent abuse, protect against fraud, and respond to legal requests or safety concerns.
  • Legal Compliance: We may retain certain data longer when required by law to comply with legal obligations and preserve evidence for ongoing legal matters.
  • Safety Database: Information about users who violate our Terms of Service or engage in harmful behavior may be retained in a safety database to prevent them from creating new accounts and to protect our community.
  • Anonymized Data: We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you personally for analytical and improvement purposes.

After the safety retention period, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems, except as noted above.

Kyndl is strictly intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not permit or knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you suspect that a user is under the age of 18, please use the in-app reporting feature to notify us.

9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Our goal is to continuously improve the app while keeping our data practices clear and transparent. We will notify you in advance of any significant changes so that you have the opportunity to review them through the app or by email.
